I sold up and left paintball a couple of years ago after leaving UWE paintball (I believe they're still going strong?), mainly due to lack of funds and time, but I still miss paintball and think about it from time to time. I recorded the paintball show series and I was watching the one where Gassy was chatting about forums, so I thought I'd pop in and see what's happened here since I left. Any more exploding stakos? Plenty of small arguments going on I presume? What's the tourney scene up to? What are the headlines from the last couple of years?

So not much much in the grand scheme of things then? Presumably .40 cal never took off?

Not sure on reasons behind the sale.
0.50 cal is still being pushed just very slowly. YPC are trying to sell it as paintball 2.0 the next generation of low impact paintball, so we'll see how that one goes.
