So, this NPPL top 18 business...

Weird split going on here - tha US Pros are desperate to get involved...witness the NXL crossovers, teams looking to come to Europe to rack up qualifying points etc., yet Euros, with tha exception of Joy, Nexus and Tontons, seem distinctly unbothered.

Whatever happened to tha Euro teams like Hardcore and Storm who were insistent that they were gonna play NPPL this season when they missed the EXL cut? And what about the remaining EXL teams - you not worried you're gonna get cut outta tha loop if tha top teams are all fighting it out in the NPPL and you have to watch from afar?

Will ProEruro teams that dont make the NPPL Pro be forced to play div1 if they want to go play in the US, and how will the points count form their US div 1 vs their Millenium Pro paoints ????

A lot of confusing questions.

I think this disparity between our American cousin's pursuit of NPPL qualification and the Euro's apparent lack of interest has more to do with resources than anything else.

I doubt any of what the Yanks know could be descirbed as 'inside knowledge' since it is all in the public domain especially after Laurent and myself had addressed the meeting of the EXL'ers in Amsterdam and told everybody there what was going on.
If some people choose to ignore that information then that is down to them.

Rumoured?
Really Nick, and there was me thinking they were slightly more substantial than rumours bearing in mind your supply line and recent confirmed events but hey, what do I know, perhaps you won't be so well informed anymore :)

We firmly believe the X-Ball format is the best around - and can take paintball places 7-man cannot.

You must have a degree in stating the bleedin' obvious mate, I don't think anybody in their right mind would disagree with this point tho I fear it is not the format that is in question more the vehicle and attendant expenses.

We do not believe in splitting our attention on two formates
How convenient :):):)

Should I be using the little smiling faces more?
I notice these are getting used a LOT and I wondered if this is the cool thing to do these days?
Can someone hit me back on this please, as I don't want to fall behind the times.

Thanks guys

Oh, and I think Robbo is right about the reason the Euro's are not travelling to the NPPL. it is hard to fill your team with talented kids with no cash and then pay flights, hotels food, drink, entries etc. without major sponsorship backing. The top 3 or 4 Euro teams can afford it but not the middle and lower tier teams. Plus I can't see the Ducks getting much support from THEIR sponsors to go play 7 man, whether they believed in 'splitting thier attention' or not.
Remember, although Nick is right, DCP are NOT the only production company in the World (revelation), they are the production company that the NXL signed up to and are contracted to. Without breaking this contract (not a good idea) they are, to all intents and purposes, the only horse the NXL can ride on. If the horse turns out to be lame there is not a lot they can do about it.

I'm serious about the faces though. The kids are alright!

Yes, smiley faces are totally "agg". All the cool kids use them.
