HAVING DECIDED TO START PLAYING AGAIN, I AM STRUGGLING TO CHOOSE WHICH MARKER TO GO FOR. I HAVE ALWAYS USED A COCKER IN THE PAST, BUT AM VERY TEMPTED BY THE IMPULSE. CAN ANYONE GIVE A CUT AND DRY ARGUMENT AS TO WHICH I SHOULD GO FOR.

i am not meaning to be rude, just helpful. if you use the search function at the bottom of the forum, there have been many many threads like this in rec ball and the noob sections. and you will find all the information you require in there,

is this specifically to use in rec days? or are you going for tourney?
no point spending a fortune on a rec marker (most sites won't be keen on you using a top end marker vs site kit).
And there is no definite answer............ just opinion and that's all you'll get..... can't beat a cocker in my mind, upgradeable and dependable (just my taste)...... but Impy's are very good too. Try both, see what you like.
