So I may have to start playing back and ...

I was wondering, I have an 8pack but it's not low enought profile (it's one of those ER Paqs from before they started making the bullet paqs) anyway, I havent been able to find anythign more than a 9pack, am I just not looking hard enough, where could I find a bigger pack? I'm looking for like 12. Carrying 2 footballs onto the field just isn't working for me ...

Dumping paint is addictive ...

Apparently when you had that flag in your eye. . .

Since it's late and I only pick on Brits I ain't gonna move this post just yet but it doesn't really belong here does it, Micah? Now if you'd wanted to talk about playing back that would be something completely different.
(Email the kids at ER and see what they're bringing to IAO.)

OK, everybody, help Micah out and talk about playing the back, demands, pitfalls, etc. Or else. :)

Is this not a discussion starter about playing tin tourneys? Where prey tell does this belong so I don't make this mistake en el futuro?

On your original question, I think Smart Parts do a Rase 11 pot loop pack if that's any use to you.
Playing back can be FUN! I always used to play that position even before I got old & fat & my leg stopped working properly. The only problems you should find converting from front to back are training yourself to have more awareness of the whole of the field and not to move up too fast - you're not much use to the front guys if you're up there with them instead of shooting them into their positions!

This is a guy looking for a bigger pack and hoping maybe somebody can help him out--which belongs in Announcements, Contacts & Queries. Hence the modestly clever allusion using your previous avatar to note you apparently never saw or read the sticky defining tourney postings that was up for oh, six weeks or so. :) Not to worry, however, an 8-pack will suffice if your playing with a pump. :D

But Baca, you don't seem to understand ... I'm leading a double life ... Pump play with one team, dump paint with another ...
besides, no one ever reads the A&Q section anyway ...

with one team and hope for redemption with the other, eh? :)
As to who reads or doesn't read A&Q it's not really the point, is it? I take your reply as a tacit admission you knew what you were doing yet posted here anyway. For shame.
Take a look, you might be surprised.

Really Baca, I had no idea I was doing anything "wrong" or "incorrect" I seriously thought this was (indirectly or otherwise) a tourney question. I was Not Announcing That I am now a back player nor was I trying to buy a pack off someone. I was simply asking those with more TOURNEY EXP. About what they use and maybe (to get this a little more on track) Some tips and tricks about field vision, what to look out for and stuff like that. I think I end up shooting too much. I've been shooting as fast as I can with a 'cocker (8-9 bps maybe) which isn' that fast but i still end up dumping a butt load of paint because it feels like I'm shooting for about 10-12 of the 15 min of a game ... if it goes that long ...

Ok, I'm done harrassing ya

Couple of things about playing the back--
You can't shoot too much. No such animal exists. If you're playing a wire you're prime responsiblity is to control that wire. You do as much by where you won't let the other team go as by keeping them in where they already are. Make sure you know all your lanes, prep your blind shots and co-ordinate with your closest mid- or back line player options for maintaning defense of your wire when you are forced in. Focus on your job--not specific bunkers. You need to be able to drop paint on multiple bunkers consistently without giving up an obvious pattern. There's more but that's a start.
If you can find it an ER pack is the way to go. Just ask Manning--he'll agree. :)

The Extreme Rage packs are definitely they way to go. I used to be a die hard Redz user but due to sponsorship I had to try out the ER pack and I have been impressed. With 13 pods on your back it gets very heavy, but their pack does not move around much at all. Our back line uses the 5+4+4 side loops for a total of 13 pods. You may have to shop around for these or contact ER directly, they may be special order.

Good luck!
