I've just recently heard about Cancer sniffer dogs... sound pretty amazing, as apparently these dogs are trained to detect Cancer from a urine sample, which means that the Cancer can be detected early enough in the majority of cases to enable successful treatment without loss of life. For many of us who have lost loved ones it may seem rather too late, but this does bode well for the future and I feel is incredibly exciting.
A great friend of mine, Jane (who drew my attention to this cause is doing a walk in early May in London - 'best paw forward' ) and although I cant make this, I am planning on doing either a walk or some fundraising down here in Devon.
If you feel able possibly you could sponsor Jane - whose ambition is to raise £5,000 for Cancer Research UK. If she raises £5,000 she will then match this in order to personally sponsor a 'Cancer Detection' puppy for life, in memory of her Father who died of Cancer and was a big dog lover.

If anyone was wondering i myself am doing weekly cake sales and am doing a barbeque in my busiest local place to try and raise as much as possible
