Tim, Trev, Shelley and I have just returned from this event, representing H-PAC and supplying the air. We have all agreed that this appeared to be a good tournament, the only thing missing was some british teams. So we have decided to spread the word to try and get some british teams there. It appears to be held annually, so we recommend it for 2007.

It was held in Namur Belguim. It's a 5-man tournament with fields open on the friday to walk and to register your team, then it is self seeding on the saturday and finals on the sunday. It was held at a sports ground on a football pitch so was good flat fields, with the staging area inside the sports hall. There was camping or hotels nearby.

I was really impressed with the marshalling, I saw people trying to cheat and the marshalls were not afraid to 1-4-1 cheaters, although the tourny was quite relaxed they were strict in adhereing to the rules.

There were the usual trade stands, a canteen in the sports hall and there was a bbq going all weekend. The atmosphere was great and everyone was really friendly despite my lack of ability to speak any language other than english.

In addition to Lou's comment, this 5 man event was GREAT:D

Bar no Brit teams, the tourney layout, 80 teams attending (+ 3 female teams) from Belgium, France, Germany & Netherlands, set up and prize money makes it a little special. Plus every team got a lovely presented basket of BEEeeer:cool: I say no more!

Results:
PRO - 1st 'Ton Ton', 2nd '2 Die For Army' (3 syndicate players and eric and cash from Method), 3rd 'Enemy', 4th 'Rodeurs' (spelling?)

Plus Am, Novice, and Rookie won cash, trophies and prizes - all 3 make it an event all on its own!

I'm gonna play next year no matter what!

Excellent, I was going to go and play this with my guys Erik and Johnny but cash is low for me. Hopefully we'll have our own team or two in next year.
