Smart parts vibe?!!!?

hi, i was just wondering if the SMART PARTS VIBE is a good first electric gun for my brother, he has already had a non electric gun and is wanting a Vibe for christmas!

just tell me if you think it is a suitable gun for hiM!

Lovely gun, but you'll get him a better marker if you buy off here secondhand - a Proto PMR, Proto SLG and Ions are all within your budget for the new price of the vibe...

The Vibe is excellent but your going to have trouble finding one at the moment because Smartparts has decided to abandon Europe. I guess it will come back eventually but who knows how long that will be? Probably not before this Christmas.

Some shops may still have some. I suggest you ring them up before you order.

building on what goldenelite said, Smart Parts (SP for reference) have pulled out of europe. As a result, you'll probably still be able to get a vibe BUT you'll struggle trying to get any customer support from SP. Meaning if anything goes wrong, parts etc will have to be ordered from the states and it'll be an import tax and 'please hold' nightmare. Therefore, i wouldn't suggest a vibe, and instead, as i say to most, bump up to an SLG.

the vibe is great, a few players have them at my local site- they seem to be hassle and maintenance free, there's nothing you can adjust or fiddle with on the vibe perfect for new-ish players and esp, inquisitive kids. for the reliability and ease of use it's defiantly work a look at. cheers bucky

The Vibe is a decent starter electronic. I've heard rumors that Smart Pars will be pulling out of the rest of the world by year's end, so keep that in mind.

They've definately packed up and left Europe that's for sure. But they'll be back soon in some for or another because dundundun GIMILSIM = SmartParts.
