Hi

just wondering if this would be possible.

I like the EOS frame and kit and was wondering if this could be interchanged between the XE and EOS?

all help would be much appreciated.

The eos has a different body, reg cover, frame, trigger, they all can be interchanged with the XE, though i think the EOS trigger needs to be in the EOS frame. The EOS and ION XE have cosmetic differences, but the bolt, inserts, solenoid and reg are different internally. I think apart from the trigger every thing is fine to swap.

Word. what 'im up there said.

All interchangable, the triggers I imagine should be too as theyactvate the same thing and sit in the same place, but then again, it's not always the case. ION_CRAZY is probably in a better posistio to comment than me as I tend not to work on the ION style range, just shockers really.

The EOS uses conical mounts on the trigger frame so theres no side to side play on the trigger, very good design, i gues you could stick the ION trigger pin though the trigger, but would gain some wobble.

not worried about loosing the trigger as its only stock.

looks interesting, wonder where i can get all this kit for without actually purchasing the gun!

is the bolt chamber etc different, i wouldnt be going to all this trouble if there was a decient xe kit around!!

the inserts slide in the fire chamber sleve, the board is different, the reg has to have a special coil in it, apart from that you good, i would just buy the gun lol, would be cheaper than buying separate, but i would call smartparts, they may sell you some of this.
