Ok I got my Smart+Parts SP8 tactical paintball gun. (For using in the woods)
I won this from www.smartpartseurope.co.uk 3 weeks ago and it arrived today.
1st is the packaging which was big and very nice, sort of thing you don’t get with a real AK-47. Good instructions and better than what was put out for the ion.
The sp8 out of the box. The 1st thing I noted was wow, its well built and a lot heaver than the ion, more the weight of old cocker,
It reminds me of a tipman in build and strength but with style.
A close look at the working are this. It’s a ION (say no more Mr Syd) simple and robust and will stand up to most markers on a sup air field as well as the woods.( the back d ring is slightly different on the firing chamber)
servicing is a little tricky with lots of bits and bobs but my 11 year old can do it easy.
Bad parts. the trigger is as slack as nookers knocker, 1 thing to change (all after market triggers will fit it. its quite heavy. don’t like the side fitting for the hopper (the old way).
Good Parts it’s very sexy looking......... get Your-DAD 1 for xmas and he will pay for all your paintball for the years to come.......
All after market parts for the Ion fit it including the barrels...........
Strong and robustly made and it will blast through 100 paintballs in 6 seconds (£7.00 per 100balls in 6 seconds ouch)
- And to be honest I was going to sell this but on seeing it I think I might just keep it.
