Right, I think I'm gonna pay my first visit to the shrine of paintball sometime next week - I'm sure peeps on this board must have been there already - how much stuff do they stock there, is it their actual warehouse?

If I go down in person it'll save me postage, and I'll be able to look at/try on stuff in the flesh, which will probably result in me spending a LOT more money, but hey, that's what I enjoy! :D

Also, I want to get my bottle looked at (not sure if it has anti-syphon) - does anybody know if there will be anyone available to look at that for me?

Any thoughts please post here... :D

Hi sweetie. Smart Parts is my local store as well, & I've spent many a happy hour in the inner sanctums there as well so I know roughly what they have.

Firstly yes, it's the main European warehouse - just about everything Smart Parts sends to Europe goes through Bexley.

Secondly, opening on Saturdays is usually 10.00am until around 3.00pm. There are always techy staff there during opening hours, in fact everyone working there except for Belinda should be able to help with techy stuff.

Do you know how to get there?

Hi Liz!

I've looked at the map, and I think I know how to get there - I'll be coming south through the Blackwall tunnel, and taking the A2 until (hopefully) there's a sign for Bexley!

Once off the A2 I think it looks fairly easy to find - if it's a warehouse there'll probably be lots of parking, right? :D

I can't wait... time to kit up for Sparklies!!! :p:p:p

It's in a little courtyard area of old(ish) buildings, with a teeny sign outside saying "Old Bexley Business Park", off Bourne Road. The front entrance seems to be permanently dug up, as well :) I walk there from the station, it's only 3-4 mins walk. Once you are in the courtyard, Smart Parts is round the back on the right (the actual door is on a side wall as well, so it's not easy to spot.)

Firstly, you have to make sure you take the right turning off the A2. There are 2, & they both lead to mini-roundabouts in Bexley Village - you want the one by the Black Prince pub. Look at a decent map book for the turning that leads into Bourne Way.

Go down Bourne Way towards Bexley & just before you get to any shops there's a turning on the right besides a sex shop. The entrance into Bexley Old Business Park is near enough opposite this right hand turn, just a fraction before it. If you go over a Zebra crossing & on to a mini-roundabout you've gone too far.
Once you turn between the brick buildings through some gates, go to the end & go right. Smart Parts is on your right, & you can't miss it now since they've had the new paint job!

Beware being sucked in by signs for BeleyHEATH - nearby but different place, not as nice & no Smart Parts.

Hmmm, how come I never even noticed that? Well, different people navigate by different landmarks :D

Thanks for the heads-up on that - from the address on the website it makes it sound like it's literally just off Bourne Road.

I'm now much better armed to find it without getting lost either this or next weekend... after all, the sooner I can get there the sooner I can start spending money! hahaha :D
