I have that trouble when behind my Norton firewall, I be bothered to change the two options so I just disable it for a couple of mins then re-enable it. Could be something similar.

Hope that helps.

Solution... of sorts...

If it falls over on the secure Java applet page then I get that too.

Make sure you enable cookies first to make sure you rule that one out (although if you've use Planets website, you wont have to touch this setting, as their website uses cookies)..

Anyway, it looks like SPE's website uses either an old or a slightly different version of the JVM. I have found that if you use Netscape it surprisingly works....

well a few hours ago when I was loking @ the prices for a double trigger I-Frame I tried to order one and it locked up the first time and gave me the error page so I keep trying and on the 3rd time if worked fine.

I did not order in the end because I'm waiting for a cheque for my old I-Frame to come through, but still it does work but not very oftern

Hey it just worked!

Have just noticed that my Norton Firewall is off (was, its now back on again, so no naughty hacking into my computer...)and it worked... guess I'll have to do a price comparison then :D

Sparklie, as for perfect shop:

Search facility like SPE
Front end a lot like planets is good, there is little to fault planet's shop, my only quibbles are:

1) The drop down menu half of the screen (the top bit) takes
up too much room for my tastes

2) If you haven't clicked onto the bottom half of the screen
(the products bit) then roll the wheel on your mouse instead
of scrolling down the page it selects a different menu, which I
find highly irritating.

3) Show prices including VAT, its very annoying having your
shopping sudenly increase in price.

4) The thumbnail pictures should lead to bigger pictures,
maybe a range of pictures of the product.

5) Everything should be free....

I'd like to agree

About the pricing, its like all of the online guys are too eager to get overseas customers that they annoy the ones on their doorstep. Change the site around - Prices include VAT, if outside EEC, prices will be lower, but we'll triple the shipping to counteract that :D
I like the Idea of knowing exactly (without using a calculator) how much something is going to cost, it makes for a more informed decision when i finally give in & buy it.

Sparklie - make it simple - people will lose interest FAST if the stuff they want doesn't jump out at them straight away. group items, nice big thumbnails for the pics, and try to mimimise those "Image comming soon" thingies (I hate those) that way people will know what they are looking at, not guess & be pissed later. Your best business will be repeat business, so keep the new stuff up, and update the site ANY time that something new comes in.
