i am looking at the eos 09 from smart parts just want to get sum advise on it and if it is worth getting one.. and if anybody is selling on pm. cheers

The Eos is a great gun, shoots nicely and is reliable provided you look after it, lubing, batteries etc. It's heavier than the top end guns and the on/off asa I'd recommend changing for a purging asa but apart from that it comes with a locking feed neck, freak junior barrel, BOB, can be capped at 10.5bps ramping and doesn't suffer from drop off like the Ion at higher ROF so offers great value!
Sadly SP have stopped producing them but if you can pick one up you'll have no problem getting bits as servicable parts are all interchangeable with Ions

I'd go for a PMR 09. A few guys at my field have the EOS and we got chatting about it and when it works... its great... but it hardly ever works

wow! when did that happen? they have and its been out a while now and they just released one.

so far i believe that the eos, shocker and ephpinay are now discontinued
hm, so there seems to be a large area of empty space at the moment,
you have the lower end markers the Vibe and Ion, and then the huge jump to the Impulse and luxe. The EOS was comfortably in between the two and therefore a nice compromise if you didn't want to sell a kidney to buy a marker
could the ion be considered mid range, i'm just thinking about what came a standard on the EOS thats the ion Should have to bump it up to the midrange brcket. Clamping feedneck, on/off asa, Blackheart board, epiphany inserts.
Luxe have clearly stated that their products are luxury items and should not be considered mid ranged in any sense of the word.
Shoot one and you will know!!
