The SLG is a good choice if your on a limited budget and want to buy new. If you do decide to go secondhand then a PMR or even an older DM will be within your budget, just remember none of these will come with a warranty like the new SLG would though!
As for a hopper, a Halo is great for its price and very, very reliable. I used one for over 8 months and never had the slightest problem. ;)

Thanks for info guys as JACKLE said i have heared good/bad things bout the SLG09 UL but in my price range i would want to buy brand new with warrenty as CRASH said bout most 2nd hand guns have no warrenty (still thinking bout the marker :)). As for the Hopper think im deffo going to go for the halo (as ppl said it quiet and only spins wen shottin if thats right? :) ) And another thing is it true that the SLG09 UL runs on air not c02??? (or both) if so wot is the best tank to get for it and does most paintball venues supply air??? (Spose best the phone b4 going) Cheers for the info guys fill free to give ya thoughts.

Marker - SLG09UL?????
Hopper - Halo.
Tank - ?????

CO2 is a no-go really for any marker that sustains a high rate of fire, it just freezes up. The SLG will work with CO2 for the first few shots but as soon as you wind it up it will freeze and could quite easily damage the marker, especially if liquid CO2 gets into to working bits and then un-freezes (over pressure and bang goes the marker). CO2 also shortens the life of most o-rings, so even if you didn't bust your marker you'd have to get it tech'd more often. So... it's air all the way.

Get a used fibre wrap if you can, make sure it is in date, steel bottles are OK but tend to be 3000psi instead of 4500 psi, smaller usually 0.8 ltr instead of 1.1 ltr and a bit heavy, but they do work just fine. Depends where you intend playing, but more and more sites are going for air these days.
