i've been looking at getting a new marker and have about 150 to 200 quid. i think this leaves me with the choice of two markers. the PMR and the SLG. personally i like the look of the slg more but that really doesnt mean anything. i want a high rate of fire with consistency and reliability. but hae no real idea of which is the best.

OK so hyperthetically i've got a new marker......what now? where do i go? where in london could i play and how do i try to get on a team?

so many questions i know but one last on for luck.....anyone want a
eros-e ?

for the eros i've got a viewloader quantum, got a cats tail thing that makes alot of noise and assists in doing **** all for the ball rate but its clear which is pretty cool...i think.

Hey buddy :)

I would say get the PMR, its the better of the two guns, more air efficent and people are more fimiliar with the innards of one to help you out whichever field you go to.
A second hand ETEK would also be a very good investment, although i haven't seen many cheap ones about.

Rates of fire doesn't mean much nowadays, everything caped to 10.5 balls per second on millennium ramping where ever you go. Your current Loader can handle this but if you want to get a new loader then its either going to be a Rotor £120 or a Second hand Halo/Reloader B for around £40. Choice is yours, i have ownd both and never had problems... well my halo ate battries like crazy, the rotors much better on batts imo :)

Where I'd ask questions is about your own gear.
1)do you have a anti-fog comfortable mask
2)Knee and Arm Pads
3)do you have an air tank with a bottle cover (although not essential)
4)comfortable battle pack?
5)pots for the pack ;)

After you get those sorted, then pimp out your clothing any which way you like, half the games about looking cool! :D

Bricket wood is where the Funs at if you already have Sup'air experiance. a couple of good teams are around like Tigers2 (if you ask TwizzECI) and Relentless Kids (if you ask Gran nicely) none of these teams bite, just make yourself very approachable, don't be shy and ask questions.

There is another option, if you want to just have fun with a really nice group of guys:

Hope this helps and hopefully you'll be playing a tourney and really enjoying yourself in the summertime!
