slg bolt cap

hi does any one know how to get the bolt cap off the 09slg ul, i lubed the marker the other day to find a o ring frayed, changed it, then turned the reg right down before i air up for the first time, so i wont blow anything. changed 3 orings now and air is still coming out the back! so i think its the bleed button o rings 005 bn70.

help

Hi Ash

If the pressure is set too low on you Hyper3 reg, the bleed button will not seal - you need a certain amount off pressure to cause the button to locate in the sealing position.

Unwind the the brass adjuster in the Hyper3 reg to 2.5 turns, then air up your marker. You should find that there are no leaks. You will need to chrono your SLG, you will probably find that it is chrono-ing very low - in the 220 fps region..

just tryed it and its not leaking out the back anymore pushed the button out thanks :)just a slight leak from the front :-( you can hear by the feedneck

Any ideas, ive changed all but the bleed button and bolt tip!

The most common cause of leaks down the fron are the plunger o-ring. Make sure the ring you put on causes a tight seal between the plunger and the bolt itself.
