hi guys my team mate borrowed my SL and his bottle has caused the elbow on the asa to blow and burst the macro line, can i bring it in to the eclipse factory and get it fixed in time for the 7 man on sunday?

Has the elbow broken? Or just the macro line?

The elbow is whole apart from there should be something inside the elbow to help hold the macro line in place. The macro line had a hole in it but has now been replaced.

I myself have never fitted one, but it just screws in right?

Shouldn't be hard for a PE tech.

Yeah as far as I'm aware it's just the elbow. But would rather take it in just in case.

We don't offer a "drop-in" service any more at our offices in Manchester. By the sounds of it you need three things:
- A new elbow
- Some new macroline
- NOT to use that tank/airsystem ever again

The elbow and Macroline are very simple to install.

Thanks nicky, had a new macro line installed but wouldn't hurt to have a spare.
Do I just need to unscrew the elbow and screw the new one in?
I'll give him a call in a bit.

having difficulty getting the old elbow off the asa. any ideas?

Has it got some kind of white stuff where it scews in? (Ooo-Err) Cant remember what its called, But sometimes it may have it on, and is a pain to get off (From my Experience)..
