Hey guys,

Just bought myself an SL66 form the forum here and it arrived today, it looks great and aired to up to just test for leaks etc. After degassing the marker and removing the bottle a small part fell out the ASA, looks similar to this:

It goes back in with no problem but obviously isnt very secure, is this safe and how can I fix it?

Cheers

Message your seller first buddy, he had it in bits for the for sale photo iirc... I'm sure he'll be able to tell you how to secure it.

I'm sure the ASA core pin isn't supposed to fall out of the ASA like that...

Welcome to the wonderful world of Eclipse OOPS from 2006.

If you don't manually degas the gun. they can fire out and get lost forever.

Unhappily it's totally normal for that marker.

Already messaged the seller but from looking around it seems like a common problem, is it fine to just push it back in?

just replied to your pm will.

I must have cleaned it too much , and with the fresh lube, its slides too freely now.

As above, it should be fine, make sure you degas the marker first.

hey buddy,

might be an idea to put a little thick/sticky grease on the outside o ring's, might help it stay in a bit better and shouldn't affect performance as they aren't moving o rings

hope this helps
