Hi Ally,

Congrats on putting the Team Skulls web site together. A half-good team web site will go a long way towards making your sponsors happy and exposing yourselves to the paintball community.

You're falling in to a few traps that people creating web sites often experience though. You have to choose your free web hosting service carefully to minimise the hassle your visitors are going to get when trying to look at your web site. The http://www.freeservers.com/ service is not ideal mate - the amount of adverts in pop-up windows is verging on the rediculous. This will seriously annoy visitors and this will reflect on your traffic. Sponsors will be aware of this and that may mean they will write your web site off as a waste of space. Also, the web site seems to be put together from a template (I may be wrong) - while a good idea, these result in a site that never looks quite right.

I'm not having a go... Just trying to pass on my point of view and offer you a recommendation....

Learning about putting web sites together is easy if you know how to browse the web. Just search for HTML, building web sites, or web site construction and spend some time reviewing your results. In no time at all, you'll have an insight into building sites that will start you thinking about what you can REALLY achieve with your team web site. Take your time, do some research and produce something you're proud of.

If you need some help or advice, email me at email@southwestpaintball.co.uk and I'll do my best to help you along.
