Cheers Ian (D D) for the comments!:p

Next time we have a tourny at our place, you are not going to use the same excuse the night before. What was it ? " Got to go, got a baby sitter"

We had to drink until 3.00 am because of you (lame excuse I know, but the best I can think of).

I know that 2 seconds makes all the difference between coming first and second, but thats what your lass say's (alledgedly):D :D

Very unlucky D D, you will get there very soon I am sure.

We are having a few training days over the next month or two, as well as that limited paint event on the 28th October, so if you are interested, give us a call, or pop down to the site any Sat or Sun.

See you guys soon

Big Ian (The Hairy Furry) ((Not Fairy!!) although you never know!?!?)

P S I did drink 3 litres of that red stuff Sat night:confused:

And by hell my head hurt Sun morning:D

And for those that are interested, Maggott has knackered the ligaments in his knee. it apparently is a problem that he has had for quite a while, and has been told to stay off his feet for at least 2 weeks. He is however coming to the meeting on Wednesday:p :p

bad luck DD

To be fair you probably deserved to go through having beaten JCS in the first game - we then lost to Chameleons (better left un-said) but then won all our remaining games.

Your 2 second over-run in that last game is bad luck.

But then the time will come when that goes your way - it's all swings and roundabouts.

Personally my thanks go to Mr Payne for the invite and to the rest of the JCS team - Das & Dave from the Rushers, Chris 'Northern Monkey' Edwards, Peegee and the JCS guys Marshy and Stuart (thats right innit?).

It was great fun at a great site played mostly against great opposition.

Mark

PS the food WAS good!!!

Thank You

Well Done!!!

A big thank you to Ian and his helpers for preparing the site, The EXCELLENT marshals (including Russell), Scraps and his ladies for the food and ALL the teams who made the event one of the best this year.

Thank you to the trade who help promote the series.

One leg left at Messingham so get booked in today!!!

Incidentally, the player who said "He is use to BIGGER events" please note that this was not a Big event in your eyes BUT it was the 5th biggest ONE DAY event in the UK this year. So it was not that big:confused:
By the way the first to fourth are all SERIES 2001 events!!!!!!!
(unless you know any different???)

www.series2001.co.uk for events scores and info on the next event. Also dates for Series 2002.

Weel done to all who setup and helped the smooth running of the tournament. Skirmish is always an amazing site to play at, and the Hyperball field always plays well.

Ian (DD), whats the current score between Troopers and Dam now? Its gotta be close. Our best game on Sunday was against you. I think both teams enjoyed it :D

Its always better playing teams you know, which is why I think so many people play Bully's series. Its like one big family! Thanks for all the excellent tournies Bully. We will be seeing you at Messingham.

i think we have 4th sewn up, but i have been wrong before.
we are 9 points in front of you in the series,:D
so i dont think you can catch us up, smart as a carrot are marshaling so i think that puts them in front by too many points, but you can move up from 7th to 6th overall, depending on how swat perform as well as you. like us you have moved well up the ladder since last year.
i think we only beat you in to the overall trophies by 1 point last year to take 10th. so again another close season between us.
see you all at messingham.

it will be real strange playing in the woods.
all like sneaky sneaky, catchy monkey!!!!

just rechecked the scores!!!!

swat could pinch 4th off us!
they have had some good results this season so its still all up for grabs.
swat could finish ahywhere from 4th to 8th depending on thiers and other teams performances.

first definatly inferno.
2nd / 3rd either reds or kellys heros
(Neither can be caught by the rest of the field)
still all close for the upper end of the series titles.

We've improved on our 11th last year, we wanted a top 10 finish so it looks like we've managed that. don't think we'll be managing 3rd Overall umlimited paint again though, still there's always next year!
