While watching the cable program Six feet Under last night there was a good chunk of the show that portrayed them playing paintball..Now as im watching I start seeing WGP jerseys,Proteus masks,Black Magic Autocockers,motorized revys,barrell condoms and plugs and a whole bunch of things that made me believe that someone with knowledge of the game had some insight into the episode..
Now im thinking "great",maybe this is the one that will finally show Pball in good way..Oh how wrong I was...
Its started off with everyone with their masks down and then when 2 actors picked them up the ref screamed at them to keep them down..Now Im thinking "wow,this is gonna be accurate"..This was proceeded by another 20 minutes of masks being picked up every two minutes,a dead mans walk which ended up with him getting shot with no mask,2 players talking about having to commit suicide so the other player can shoot the others killing them and sending them all to hell,only to be followed up by a character getting shot and wiping it and being called a wiper by his teamate yet glorified for doing it by another...
This by far had to be the most amusing and accurate version of recball paintball that ive seen on TV to date and almost an exact account of the first time I ever played paintball many years ago..
Everyones whos ever played this game has seen masks come up,people wiping,playing Rambo and relatively being unsafe sometimes..Will TV be the downfall of us...After watching this account im positive that if people take this $hit seriously we have alot more to worry about than paintball....
