hey ballers

whats the deal with a silk shot shaft? how does it help you? everybody claims it increases performance and the only thing it claims to help with is first shot drop off. Will this be a good buy and will i have to change anything else on my gun to install it?

thanks

I bought one and have installed it but I havent been able to use it yet. I don't think it will make much difference on its own. I recommend you get full ND internals to get some significant efficiency and consistancy. This would include the valve, rathole hammer and slik shot ram.

If you go to http://www.e-paintballoutlet.com , they sell ND kits including the valve, hammer, ram and bolt. Also, you can buy straight from the ND website at http://www.newdesignz.com/

Hope this helps

Just about every after-market ramshaft will have some kind of "special" coating that makes it slicker and smoother than the stock one - if you have anything other than the stock one, chances are you won't notice when you "upgrade"...

Remember if u are getting FSDO to also check your battery - that's one symptom that's easily remedied... :D

You say in another post that you have a Nasty Impulse. What setup is it? Do you have a tapeworm or VFF?
