Im very sad to say guys that Im announcing my retirement from playing competetive paintball. I have been struggling the last couple of seasons with a recurring back injury and in the off season i have finally had some xrays ,mri scans and have been advised by a specialist not to play anymore. As you can imagine after playing for 18 years its a bit of a shock but Id like to take this opportunity to thank everyone Ive played with , against and met along the way a massive thanks for all the good times , for all the places Ive been to and played at ,and 2 the 4 teams ive been on , so a big thanks to The Punishers , Shades of Grey , Shockwave and SC Stealers, youve helped me be who I am today.
I will be around at the milleniums helping london Shock out coaching which Im looking forward to but it wont beat playing! Anyway a good luck to everyone in whatever you do ! Peace !

Jeezus, Matt I know your pain. I'm waiting for spinal surgery on a ****ty disc at the base of my spine. Had to wait getting my back piece finished off due to the inevitable scar tissue. Also constantly full of all sorts of weird and wonderful pills, morphine being the best!!!! Any way dude, good luck with the coaching and you never know, you just might hit the fields again.

Peace
