Signature Troubles

I downloaded gimp the other day and made a custom signature i am having trouble downoading it to go into my signature is it because its from gimp and i need to change the format? or something of this nature a little help would be appreciated

Never used gimp but, save as then near the bottom there should be a drop down box saying file type?

Or even a button on file saying something like export as...

funny shape for a signiture!?

but yeah the .XCF is gimps default file type, not compatable with anything anywhere ever!

export as either a .jpg or .png or if you are really fancy gimp is quite good for making animated .Gifs

yeah its quite a weird shape but its good i feel and because it is square i cant have it too big. admitadly it is a bit small atm being corrected though lol

cant seem to get it bigger the image that is ??? it just wont do it.

go to the top toolbar, click image, then scoll down to scale image and that should do it.

....it'll probably get somewhat pixelated if you drew it up at that size tho
