Sign usage in EXL and Millennium Open X Ball

Oooh, oooh, I have a question

Perhaps a clarification is in order? You don't mean stuff like, "I could use a drink between points." Or, "Was that a play call or were you just scratching your nuts?" Do you?

NXL and Divisional X use signs for kill count. Are you implying other, more complex communications via sign are OK?

What about hand signals? Would the Ducks player have gotten a post match penalty if he had communicated with the ref via hand gesture instead?

A little grumpy today, eh, Steve-O? :)
There was a real question in my last post. As it stands the NXL and Div X use signs to signal kill count. This isn't communication between the coaches, this is directed to the active players. If you mean something else you need to clarify. If you mean what I've said goes on now over here you also need to be specific. The blanket ok for signs opens up precisely what I joked about. Why not a washable slate in which coach or assistants can communicate whatever they want--given your current statement?

No grumpiness my dear Baca,

I understand that players may look at the signs also but, NXL does it that way (according to Mike Ratko) therefore we do it that way.

Steve

PS. Here's another sign for ya:
