Do paintball sights really come in handy?

what would be better to get a rifle scope site or a electronic red dot site

im thing about being a all around player and close support sniper should i bother with ghille or should i just rough it.

you wont need a ghille in regular open play, you wont have time for it to come in handy.

A sight wont really be useful unless you marker is really consistant. If you choose to get a sight I would reccomend an occuled (spelling) eye red dot sight. It's quicker to sight, and there are no batters to run out.

Shoot the best paint you can afford, this will give you more accuracy (assuming it matches your barrel well) and buy a good barrel. Maybe one that matches the paint you shoot most often. then get sed to the way your 'gun shoots, and you wont need a sight.

having used a red dot sighjt on my automag for a while i have to say that i wouldn't recommend it. basically you spend ages lining up the shot whereas you should be more snappy with aiming. if you really need to aim then look down one of the sides of your marker (am i right in thinking you use a spyder?) and along the barrel.
as far as a rifle scope goes. don't even bother trying it. scopes are designed to be used on weapons with flat trajectories. paintballs just don't have a flat enough trajectory to make the scope worth it. basically all that'll happen is that you'll zero the scope (as well as you can with paint :D ) at 35 feet (for example). then the second you try to shoot someone at any distance over or under 35 feet the arc of the ball will mean that the ball won't even get close to the target.

hope that helps
cheers
