Should I be worried???

I've got a gorilla bottle and I have found a small chip in the top coat. Should I be worried about this?

Depends on what you call small chip, if it's cut into any of the fibre wrap it will probably fail a hydro test inspection.

Since you are probably talking about a container that has to hold up approximately 300 times the pressure the atmosphere makes upon you, I would say you should be worried... But if you have doubts, since it is a piece of equipment that if faulty can kill you, as well as other people near you, you should get it tested...

If you are on about the black wrapping on the guerrilla bottle and the carbon fibre underneath is still fine then it's fine. To be safe take it to a dive centre who know about carbon fibre bottles and get them to take a look for peace of mind.

Common issue in the outer gel coat, as long as the fibres are intact you've no worries

On the "hole"put a little epoxy or superglue. Or if you send tank for tessting is better and safer solution. They will fix it.
