This was a realy good walkon.

The site facilities were great, proper toilets even a shower was available. There was however no food to purchase but a sandwich and chocolate bar was included:) with free tea/coffee and juice available all day. Which was enogh. There is a great safe zone with a seperate covered space for walkons with loads of room and plenty of bays. Everyone was realy helpfull and proffesional.

All the game zones were good all 14 yes 14 games zones which is more than im used to for a start. The main thing about the games wasnt just the game zones them selves but the different way that they were played which made playing for me anyway a nice change and showed initative. Instead of the usual CTF games and attack and deffend played in the usual way, there was one multi flag game were you had to raise (on a real flag pole) two of your flags at opersit ends of the fields while the other team had to raise there two flags then when that was done raise a single flag in the middle. First team to raise the middle flag won. There was also a game with a single flag pole with two flags on it where wich ever flag was raised at game end that team won. There was loads more games with great takes on game play that lead to a day that realy stood out from the rest rather than "just another walkon"

This site also has the option for renting SP ion's for walkons instead of just the standard site infernos. Which means that not only can you bring your mates that dont play for a good day out but there more evenly matched especialy when the site ion's are RAMPING. The air fills werent to 3500psi as stated and dont think went above 2800psi all day. We were offered use of spare air bottles for the whole day though to combat this.

All in All i had a Fantastic day and by the vibe of every on else they did too. Even think a couple may have got the bug!. Although i don't think this is going to be a regular monthly event when its on again its going in my diary!!!!

Thanks to all involved for a great day was well worth the drive.............

Till next Time :) :) :)

Thank you to everyone who attended and made this a great event, I personally enjoyed it thouroughly and even managed to join in with some of the games.

Biggie; I'm glad you guys enjoyed the day but you have not yet seen all that HPC has to offer and I guarantee there will be more surprises at future events. Hopefully it will attract more people next time as various teams have expressed an interest.

The next event details along with any special offers will be released to the Shoreline mailing list subscribers first, then event details will be posted here.

Thank you again to all who attended

See you soon, Lee
