Times are tough. We're all feeling the strain. Paintball 'aint a cheap hobby.
So, Shoreline have decided to put on a big scenario game at the cheapest price that the UK has ever seen. It's time to give something back to the players who have supported us in recent years.
Tickets for Armo-Geddon 6 will be just 15 quid.
Paint will be from 25 quid a box.
The aim: a great big gun fight, organised immaculately and played at a great location - that doesn't cost players the earth. Pretty simple really.
When?
Sunday 19th June - although we'll be running Guinness World Record attempts on Saturday afternoon if you are kicking around in the area.
Where?
Up norfff in whippet and flat cap land.
Why £15?
We'll have to pay the marshalls, build props, ticket and pay for pyro etc. - so we have to charge something.
I'll be honest, I don't mind running an event at cost price and giving up my time for free.........but I'm not as wealthy as Robbo and Gassy who spend their lives sitting on thrones of money, eating Dodo egg sandwiches and drinking Unicorn smoothies...........so I can't run at a loss.
15 nicker each and the couple of quid from each box of paint should cover things. I don't mind being up front and transparent about that.
So what will you get?
A 6 hour non-stop massive gun fight. Organised by Shoreline and run at a great venue.
There'll be a trader on site and they'll be offering tech support for a range of markers should your kit fail.
A restructured respawn system which'll mean you'll not be further than 80 metres from any respawn point.
Pyro explosions, props and other good stuff in a rolling 6 hour non-stop game.
Shoreline's electronic live game mapping system - several 42 inch LCD screens in the staging areas with live and real time updates showing which team holds which bases.
Shoreline's Electronic flags - cloth flags are so 2009 :tsk: . Much cooler to take a base and flick a switch to change the coloured strobe lights as opposed to hoisting some tatty old flag that looks like Granddad's pants. Plus, you can see our electronic flags from miles away.
HPA bottle checking - every single bottle will be checked.
Air Safety Training - free of charge and you'll have your laminated Air Safety Pass ready for you before you leave....it'll last a year.
The best trophy in the game - the famous Shoreline Armo-Geddon Sword:
The Generals
Normally, organisers choose experienced or well known players to lead the teams. But this game is a bit different. We've decided to let the youngsters have a go to show their strategic skills. Both Generals are under 17 years of age but both are great players in their own right. Both were on the short list of 4 for UK Scenario Young Player of the Year in 2010. Courtney 'Mouth' Gell from the Rebel Renegades and Jarreth 'Shorty' Holden from the Dog Soldiers will go head to head to show the old fogeys what leadership is all about.
Let youth have it's head and give the young guns a turn in the limelight for a change. Good luck lads!

We're expecting a decent turn out because of the prices. If you've got any questions just drop me a PM.
Cheers
Tim.
