Hi everyone, need some help with an Eclpise Pro+ Autococker that suffers from shootdown when at cycling at a high ROF. The first couple of shots are ok then it starts going wrong. It has the Zero-b board in it.

Anyone had a similiar problem? Phoned Planet up but they don`t touch Cockers now.

Many thanks.

What type of tank are you running - HP or LP output?

Are you getting enough air into gun from ASA, with no restriction on flow? One of our team had this happen due to pin valve depressor being to fat, and choking off air when wound in too far.

What settings is the Zero board set to - try re-setting to factory fast if it's been adjusted & see if you still get drop off? Oh... and has the gun still got standard HP inline reg fitted?

I use a HP Pure energy bottle. Tried setting it to factory fast but that didn`t work. The air flow through the gun is fine. It has the WGP black magic reg.

Open your eblade up and hold the red button down, go into the timing section and raise the Coff (bolt close time) to about 45 and see if you still get shootdown if not try 40 then take it down 1 by one...

If this doesnt fix it then Pm me where you live as i dont mind looking at it for you ^^

Nice one :)

It can't have been on standard factory fast timing if COFF was too low?

Default "fast" settings on my zero B board are

SON 4.0
COFF 24
C DEL 6.0
CON 55
C T/out 1.0

E1 board "fast" is...

SON 4.0
COFF 28
C DEL 6.0
CON 65
C T/out 255

Best way to optimise COFF is to lower the setting 2ms at a time, shooting strings of paint until you get drop off. Then come back up 1-2 ms. That should give best COFF setting for your ram. Better rams with QEV's cycle faster & can run lower COFF settings.
