Shockwave/Method in the EXL

Just somrthing to think about.

Top eight teams in europe from last year according to the WPS have been selected to play the EXL.

Shockwave are one of these teams

Shockwave this year have two of last years line up playing

Method have by my count five (Eddie, Colby, Niel, Das and Dave) so surely it was these players that earnt the EXL spot and should be given the right to play X ball over the two other Shockwave players.

Two against five whats your thoughts!

And Man Utd should lose their place in the Premier because they haven't got the vast majority of players they had a few years back ?

It ain't about numbers here, the team is everything !!!!

But we could put Mattie and Russel in the ring with the five Method players you mentioned to fight it out.
Now that would be fun seeing Mattie and Russ trying to escape being swallowed by Daz's mouth but I still put my money on the Shockwave duo to be triumphant in that little smack down

Looking at Shocks roster this year it looks like they have stepped back up again and are really taking it all as seriously as it all deserves.

Young players (apologies to Russ and Matty of course ) and a coach.

3 big pro teams for the UK next year - awesome!!

Good luck to them all - it's going to be a mad one!!

Were not talking about 5 years were talking about less than a year.

However (Terrorist Group) Shockwave managed to qualify in Miami without those players. The points from Miami helped them qualify in 8th place for EXL. So....................

Robbo - Ur very own Nicky T has made this same point on a different forum stating that it should be Hard Core which should have the 8th place. As Shock only have 20% of their original squad from last year.

My thoughts on who should have the 8th place.......... I dunno, I dont care, let them play off or somthing Hard Core vs Shockwave, for a place in the EXL. Who cares. Definatley not me.

LA Ironmen have allegedly had a mass exodus from the NXL and next season may field an entirely different line up...should they be kicked out?

I think exactly what Robbo has posted above.

I can confirm that we will be taking it seriously this year, with a proper infrastructure in place, a top quality coach (who used to coach you by the way!), and a team of like minded individuals who all want to be the best of the best, learn and play our game with intensity, commitment and dedication.

p.s Are you bitter about not getting a chance to play?

p.p.s Do you think that Smart Parts customers who send their guns in to be teched/fixed would be happy if they knew that their precious markers were being messed around with by someone from Smart Parts that is not a qualified or certified tech........oops

For somebody who don't care you sure do have an opinion on it !

As for what Nicky T says, I agree with him and this is in no way meant to be disrespectful to Shcokwave.
Hardcore did finish the season stronger in terms of team roster and would probably, at the outset at least, be the better team.
But, the teams weren't selected on what could be, they were selected on what was achieved.
The fact that Shockwave lost most of its players is I'm afraid, just one of those things but make no mistake about it Sammy, Shockwave the team, earned their place !!
Shockwave don't need to indulge in any play off, they don't have to, they are in, it's as simple as that.

Thats a pretty stupid thing to put.

Oh by the way the new 'LA IRONMEN' will be mainly made up of Legacy. who? Legacy.

At the end of the day the NXL/EXL would not be what it is if u just had 'LA IRONMEN' vs 'MIAMI EFFECT' without all there top end players. People watch the NXL because all the 'best' teams/players play it.

There top level pro's because they've been at the top for years in an open league where new challengers could compete with them and challenge them for the top spot.

In a closed league how do u really know who's best?

I hope my point is clear enough without being to clear and upsetting any one.

Im not dissagreeing with u.
I know that.
I never said they hadnt earned there place. My point on Miami was simple, they didnt need 'those players' for what ever reason to qaulify in Miami. Hence they proved themselves (kind of)

Im just saying that if there was to be 'fair'(ish) way to decide. playoff then no one cay say no more.
