Yes. Out-the box; definitely.

however after upgrading it to hell an ion can match a shocker for speed etc...

I'm not going to get into the shockers-are-better argument; I just prefer them.

yeah but if you bought a shocker for say 250 and an ion for 100 could you upp it enough for 150 quid to be as good as a shocker?

err, no. youd need a new: board, barrel, qev, new asa, feedneck... your talking like another £300 or so me-thinks, though that may be a bit far :)

nah ions are fun and easy to maintain and will serve the owner well if he treats it nice and lubes it up lol, its just they have a bad rep since alot of the owners are complete and utter idiots who think they can be treated like a tippmann or inferno

im thinking of getting a shocker now but do you know of a store that sells it in dust black. ive seen it but its not on gizmos, planet eclipse etc
