let me be the secound to beat balf! yes a stock ion reg would work fine in a shocker, as would pretty much aftermarket reg(CP, MacDev, AKA, Hyper II) etc as the thread on the FRM (front regulator mount) are pretty universal

easy as pie mate, the ion reg is really under-rated as a reg when infact the only difference between that and a shocker nxt reg is a spacer disc in the nxt reg (just get a stiff plastic disc and shazam)

still prefer the non-ion/nxt reg style just because of the easier stripability and not needing a deepwell socket or spanner, just allen wrenches that everyone has so if you lose yours, no biggie.

but thats me. in all its easy to do and will give you awsome performance

if your not having any trouble with the stock dont bother changing it, its an awsome reg, just needs a clean every now and again, i get +-2 from mine

yea am not having that much problem with the stock reg it needs a clean though. but i was watching a video say how under rated the ion reg was so a thought i mite try it on my shocker.

just stick with the stock, easy to clean, i have a video somewhere, its on youtube i think, thats a big help.
