A Shocker can shoot 24bps with Vision on, I know must others can do around the 30 mark, but how many people out there can even come close to that? It mainly comes down to trigger set up really. The Octane Shocker is no difference from a stock Shocker, except for the body. The internals and board are the same, so it is no faster than other Shockers. Others such as the Dynasty have different boards so the performance is slightly better.
There are many other after market boards available for the Shocker with various different features to improve performance (see Skeetmaster). Anyway, if you're using ramping then you're capped at 15bps anyway... So no advantage speed wise between either.

The only let down with the Shockers compared to something like the G7 is 'Vision'. The G7 uses laser eyes (I think, not much of an Angel chappy :)) where as the private label Shockers use SP's Vision. (Although laser eyes are available for Shockers; just takes some work though)

All comes down to personal preferrence though. My Shocker has been flawless and have loved it since I've had it. Never used a G7 though... So slightly biased :D Look at all the Private Label Shockers though which are 'team based', must be something right with them for all those teams to be using them ;)

Anyhoo, I hope that helped.

The shocker is a real gas hog, so it would need a bigger bottle than the other guns you mentioned.
For example you would get more shots out of a G7 with a 45cui system (baby bottle) than you would with a shocker and a 68cui.

Also the shocker is pretty hard on paint.

You can purchase an LPR which goes some way to correcting these faults but it can be expensive and ugly.

Plus, as with all smart parts markers, the build quality and finishing is a disgrace.

Most private label Shockers come with the SP HE bolt.
Not sure on the whole LPR thing, the LPR does not serve much of a purpose but to finely tune the pressure. It's not a vital thing to have... Plus it looks like ****e. ;)

I have to agree on the finish of Shockers, I'm not sure if the private label Shockers are better for this, but the Shocker I have atm isn't the best. The anno to the side of the trigger is fading :(

i have a shocker.............it ROCKS.
in all fairness i havent shot a g7, but i have shot a speed o 05 and many other angels.

the shocker is quick, really littel, which is nice cos then u can make it longer with a rail or shorter depending on your preference..........its incredibly light, lighter than an ion which is made of plastic!!!!!!+ it helps allot with snap shooting

i have a nerve baord in my shocker, and all shockers come with it stock now i beleieve and it enables you to really shoot UBER fast and really simple to use.

its tru taht the sp vision isnt the best, mine has chopped every now and then, but even when this happens the gat will still shoot.......and the bolt system is gr8..........i luv it,

they are accurate 2!!

generaly shocker over any angel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
