When I turn on my shocker it goes into vision mode but will only fire once, then refuses to see another ball even when it is sitting in the breech. To get it to fire I have to turn it into non vision mode. Any ideas ?

Eye is knackered?
Make sure the eye's clean on the front and the back, and make sure it's seated correctly in the solenoid (silver side towards marker if I remember right).#Other than that you may need a new eye

Cleaned it and checked the connection. If I cover the eye with my finger it works otherwise nothing. Guess that means it's knackered !
what colour paint are u using.... sometimes if u use dark shell paint or paint that has clear shells and coloured fill it wont detect...
Paint colour doesn't seem to make any difference. It works if I physically take the eye out of the body and cover it with my finger but not when it's in the actual gun.
you sure the eye is lined up properly? i remember someone else with a smart parts marker had a similar problem and that was the eventual cause of it.
Tried all the adjustment that the little screw will allow and nothing.

Make sure that teh loom between teh two boards is fully pushed home, or replace to be sure...these are critical to correct eye function.
