Shocker using too much air

Ok i have a problem, my shocker nxt is going through too much air.
It was sent away to be annoed then sent away againt to get a grub screw removed that was stuck in.

Now when i use it im getting about a hoppers worth of shots before having to fill my tank back up. Im sure this isn't right.

Any advice on what i should check?

hi im having same issue with my geo

its brand new shot a box through it but i know this isnt right i know about beding it down a stuff jus would of thought i would be able to get a little more than a pot and a hopper i got the rt-2 upgrade for it and installed that.

ideas on what i can check also plz

make sure your bottle is properly screwed into your asa
I didn't do this the first time i used my shocker

yeah mate its screwed in properly, i've just taken out the bolt cleaned and lubed it, but not fired it yet, who knows maybe thats all it needed.

And tom i got a mate to check it for leaks yesterday and he said there were none.

Are you firing it without paint in it?


Alot of spoolies will use more air when dry firing.

I know the shocker is definately like that.
With the Geo being just a fancy ion I'd expect not to be as bad as the shocker though.

something all the ion haters forget is that all the spoolers work on the same basic principles....

screw the bottle in full and leave it for a while and then check again see if pressure has dropped,, if that doesnt work try adjusting the dwell slightly this might save u a bit air but not as much as ur talkin
