hi all

i have a older shocker turbo board with the Ds not Ls switch, it has on the left hand side (looking form the front) a small white conector which has nothing conected to it. Its marked as J2, my original 4x4 board does not have the connector

Does anybody know what the connectors for????

cheers

Thanks Mark

Do you then need a different board for the Rev, or can you get a upgrade from some where??

cheers

Hi Killeronion

ive seen the board on the smartparts website and it looks like its a straight conection between the rev and the shocker with no way of quickly diconnecting it, is that right.

i have a couple of other questions

1) does it only spin the rev if your using turbo mode, or will it spin it for every pull of the trigger.

2)do you need to do any major surgery to the rev or shocker to get it to fit

cheers

Dunno about the turbo mode I would guess that it does as the board is operating so some kind of signal must be being sent to the Rev.

Major surgery is needed to the Rev to get it to work, there is/was a series of pics on the smart parts site showing you how to do it, as for the quick dissconnect when you connect it all up put a 3.5mm socket and plug in the signal wire (assuming it is only two or at worst 3 wires) given that you will be ripping the Rev to bits(I know it sounds brutal but it isn't that severe) maybe you could fit a flush mounted socket on the Rev to make it neater.

BTW I know you asked KO but as I was here and I did answer you the first time...

Good luck

does any one know how to make a board that would control the rev as £50+vat is a lot for one board and it costs as much as a new agi.

Email me

It shouldn't be too hard, just interupting the 'eye' with the trigger pull pulse. Email me and i'll draw up the plans. And tell your friend it is not a brick, It is a shoe box :D

And shockers DO rule!
