Shocker Triggers and Grip frame

Okay, so i bought a dynasty trigger.. but weirdly enough i cant fit it.

I have a stock 05 SFT grip frame with a stock trigger.

I take the frame off the gun, disconnect the wires.

I then push out the trigger pin, and pull out the stock trigger

place in the dynasty trigger, and i find that the magnets are in fact attracting each other, causing the trigger to remain depressed.

I thought the two magnets are mant to repel each other (one at the rear of the trigger, and one behind it in the frame) ????

My thinking is that they must repel as there would be no other way of returning the trigger to its primary position.

What am i doing wrong?

Cheers in advance

ive turned it round and screwed it into the frame intil it stops attracting the trigger, but it now means that the magnet is largely irrelevant and surely relying on the weight of the microswitch itself is too short a trigger pull?

Or does every shocker with dynasty trigger do this?

i dont understand one side of the magnet should attract the trigger and the other side should repel it  does it actually have a magnet in the trigger not just a grub screw , TBH most 03 shocker trigger setups ive seen are mouseclick short only using the microswitch for return ,fraid i cant help matey hopefully someone else can

I think the magnet is unipolar instead of bipolar which would explain it, thanks so much for the help anyway :)

I currently use a my shocker without the magnet installed in the frame with a New Designz trigger, doesnt bounce really and works fine hense why I keep it like that, and for the time that I had a dynasty trigger it was okay as well, although as you stated you do need a very short trigger pull for it to work, Out of interest what board are you using?

Cool, Just a standard nerve ramping board, with flipped switch mod
