I'm about to buy a new marker for the upcoming season and have been looking at the shocker. Two teammates already have shockers so I tried theirs and was a bit dissapointed... Being used to my previous marker - an Angel - I found it hard to shoot fast. Short bursts were fine, but to keep a high rate of fire for a long time I found hard.

I have heard that the shocker and angel uses different trigger switches but then I have also heard that the switches are similar now.
So I would appreciate if someone could enlighten me on this subject :)

Both use lever type micro switches yes. The difference is in the switch though. On the angel you feel the switch actuating when you pull the trigger. With the shocker you dont feel the switch, so you loose some of the feel you had with your angel. Once you play with the shocker, however, you get used to not feeling the switch and just pulling the trigger. On the angel the switch kind of helps push back the trigger along with the spring, and the shocker doesnt. As with any gun you get used to it, but to answer your question the difference is internally in each switch.

If ya want to feel the switch actuate, stick a blade trigger on it, set the back stops well and remove the spring.

Back stops prevent you from trashing the switch and if u get it right you feel every little movement on the switch.

Easy really :)
