Shocker trigger Turbo 4x4

I have an old Shocker and it has been banned from tournaments for having turbo mode.

I can assure every one that the turbo board is switched off and am 99.5% certain that the trigger is the problem. The trigger when pulled all the way back and wiggled (Not released) causes the marker to fire again.

This trigger has no way to adjust it, now I understand that on the older shockers there was a "dome" type firing board... could this be the problem?

What do I need to do to fix it, the problem is that this is now my spare marker and don't want to spend much on it.

Any ideas out there.

there could be two reasons:

there will be a trigger adjustable screw that activates the dome switch (open the shocker and look at the top of the switch) shorten the length and then threadlock the screw.

the setting on the board could be set for burst as all DS boards had the burst option - check the instructions to see which dip switch it is.
