Hi,

Just got myself a Dynasty Shocker (didn't come with a manual but managed to download something off the Smart Parts website which has helped me figure out what's going on with the chirping and vision on/off modes - any other help, tips or tricks would be appreciated though!) and taken the grip cover off to disappointingly find the battery terminal connection had cracked and come away from the plastic housing (although still able to connect, just about!).

I want to get a ramping chip for the gun, but am not 100% sure what this does (think its increasing the rate of fire?) and not sure what chip i'll need, what's the best one to go for, and how easy they are to fit (ie. any soldering required? - hoping no!) also whether the new chip has battery wires already connected to it so the housing for the battery connector will be all good with a new chip?

Apologies for the novice sounding questions, am new to the world of ballin' this is my first Tourny marker after a rather easy to maintain Tipmann! But would really appreciate any help people can give me on this!

Any tips and tricks for modding the marker would be well appreciated!...Like how to increase the velocity for starters!!

Thanks for any help you guys can give me!!

Shady.

look here buddy

http://www.punisherspb.com/

you can get anything there - but as shown you will need a board replacement not a chip (no soldering required )-you can get any of these things in the UK if you pm skeet on this forum, just look around hes always about or do a member search - hes easy to find - he cant spell 'the' :D

as for the velocity - you need to turn the hex screw on the brass part on the very bottom of the vertical regulator - you will also need to loosen the bottom grub screw on the vert reg so it doesnt scratch parts of the reg internals - pm me if you need any more help or post up if you dont understand :)

Sorry i hate to be looking on the downside but why do you want ramping?

Ramping is software on your gun that adds shots once a certain amount of trigger pulls have been acheived

No site in the UK will allow you to use it and most UK Tournamants are the same except Milleniums and the PA

Im seeing kids on here insisting that their gun ramps and/or buying a board for their gun and then whineing that they cant afford to even use it.

Sorry i know i dont know you mate but if your unaware of ramping i would assume you dont play tornaments, as this has been a mass grey area on the tornament scene this season:)

Hope that helps

Absolute Must have...for any Shocker owner

Check that link out mate..will tell you everything you want to know about Shockers and all other SP markers.

Dskize is right, you cannot replace teh chip, you have to get a whole new board...theres no soldering required, all you do is knock out 2 pins holding teh board in and unplug teh loom conecting it to teh solenoid...pop teh new one in...your done.

Ramping wise..if your new...some local tournaments allow ramping as well as teh ones stated above...most recball sites wont allow ramping, especially if its against punters...as a) they wont like it and b) you will shoot all teh punters out very quick, which means they dont shoot paint therefore spend no money!

You do not want to have anything to do with "Velocity Ramping" which some boards allow...this is where teh board, increases the fps that teh ball comes out...quite a bit..whoch improves range, but hurts liek hell and worse, can be very dangerous...if you use it, and get caught..you will be banned from teh site and most likely kicked ****eless as well!
