Wondering if any one can help me. Brought a HE bolt from the forums and have put it in all new O rings and lubed up.

When I gas up and fire it's like the dwell is to low and it just sounds muffled. set the dwell to 50, then gradually increased up to max still the same though.

Also turned up velocity slightly but still no effect.

Put the stock bolt back in set dwell to 45 ish and no problems. Bolt cycles sweet.

Both bolts are assembled correctley.

Anyone got any ideas.

If it doesn't try the 17/70 on the inner of the bolt sleeve or the rear 12/70 on the bolt guide, also ensure the bolt move's freely and smoothly through the bolt sleeve as sometimes they are bit on the tight side and his can also cause the same thing.

When you say you put the stock bolt back in, did you put in the whole assembly or literally just the bolt?

sorry got the bolt wrong. I've got a evolve bolt. but i assume they are very similar. replaced all the inner O rings eith the 90 size still the same.

I put the whole assembly back in with the stock bolt.

Swapped them back tonight and the stock bolt works perfectly. I'll try what you suggested with the thinner O rings in the weekend and try again.

Do the Evolve bolts make that much difference on the air consumption??

Also do you know of any where to get a power up switch for the top board got a spare with a broken switch. Tried online found somewhere but minium order is £20 and the switch only cost 30p.

cheers

If it is the full evolve kit you will need the appropriate bolt sleeve as the evolve bolt is much larger than the stock (or any other for that matter) so you will have trouble with it if you managed toget it into the sleeve, The stock bolt would just have a leak if it was an evolve sleeve.

If the sleeve is gold Magnesium it's the evolve, black Aluminium or white delrin it's a SP one. Then you just have to figure out which bolt you have, whether it's the full evolve bolt ot the evolve ULP(which will work with a stock bolt sleeve)
