shocker problem

my shocker isnt working properly, its got a sp HE bolt and when the bolt moves frm the back to front position it is sticking in the firing can pretty bad, hence it wont really shoot!! whenever it moves forwards it looks like its trying 2 push the front of the firing can off!! any help would be appreciated, when i get it back thurs i will change all of the orings that i can, any other solutions??

take the bolt out, re lube it, check the orings, then raise the dwell.

has been re-lubed properly twice, tried 2 brand new duracells, raising the dwell doesnt really solve the problem even with the dwell right up! the orings look fine but im pretty sure its 1 or 2 of them

make sure your SFT oring is ok, this needs to be replaced at least 1 every 6 months, if it doesnt seal properly it wont cycle proper

thats the one thats in the breech isnt it? does a replacement come in a standard shocker oring kit?? ta

my old shocker is now 8 months old and hasnt had the o-ring replaced and works a dream...my current shocker is at least 18 months old and has never had the o-ring replaced and its still shoots beautifully...it all depends how you look after them....if it does need replacing the size is 17/90

im not sure it comes in an o-ring kit...just make sure its a 17/90 and not the softer 17/70

i know the gun that chris has, and it was a problem child of sorts for the original owener, had some teethin problems right up till he stopped using it, then it worked perfect. But i would say that maybe you could have overlubed it. Too much lube will clump together on occasion, also too much can cause too much friction, and the oppostie with too little lube, it will not cycle, all 3 NXT shockers i got had so little lube, it seemed like SP had just rubbed a little on the outside, if you guys are training wednesday i could take a look. Also, i just got a hater board for my shocker, has 22 modes of fire
