I had trouble last time out, where my Shocker worked fine for 15-20 minutes of play, then stopped firing . There was a little 'pfffft' from the solenoid every trigger pull, but no bolt movement. I got it working by changing the full set of o-rings and relubing the whole bolt assembly, but did I really need to, or is this problem just down to 1 or 2 knackered o-rings?

If it helps it's a bog stock SFT Shocker with a SP HE bolt.

Cheers m'dears :D

try ZDS for shocker info but it was probably the rear o ring in the fire chamber that was at fault .i had the exact same issue and they told me it was a common fault with shockers . if it happens again check that o ring first .

Cheers bud, I had a look on ZDS (fantastic tech site) but didn't see this specific problem. I'll try that one first next time.

In my personal; experince aof shockers they really do need the bolt assembly thoroughly lubing before every day of play to get the most out of them, obviously make sure your battery has plenty of charge too.,

Only takes 5 mins and make sure you use a greasey lube like dow 33 or similar, oils dont work well on shockers.

Yeah I do that, I've seen posts from guys who only clean & relube them when they have problems but I clean/regrease mine and stick a fresh battery in it every time out. Nothing worse than a gun that doesn't work, kinda ruins your day a bit...

Well, I don't think it was necessary to replace all the o-rings. Myself, I would have replaced the inner o-ring on the firing can first, then tried again. That o-ring can be a slight fecker for causing bolt problems and whatnot. The amount of o-rings on the bolt is a major design flaw (IMO)... I know some may say there are more than that, but there we are. ;)
Just keep the bolt lubed nicely (being careful not to get too much lube in the holes on the bolt [the little small ones]) and it should work fine for you most of the time. But always keep a spare set on you, just incase. ;)
