I'd go for the timmy.

All you'd get over a timmy with a shocker is the "closed-bolt fairy".

If you don't like the funky grip of the classic you can get yourself a gz (45) grip or the clamshell, other than that you have no real need to change much beyond cosmetics.

timmys are very fast and suprisingly light (compaired to what people say). I'd go for the new 2002 standard timmy, it rocks the socks off goldy locks and is very sweet lookin to. It also comes with plenty of fir modes and anti-chop eye for minimum ball breakage.

When do i get a star?
Timmy is nice...

My brother has a timmy and its very fast, sweet looking, better on gas, comes with verticle feed, and is a bit less expensive.

However, there must be a reason that so many back players use shockers, i.e accuracy, low ball breakage, works great on CO2 (I believe the timmys need nitro. Not sure though but it would cost a lot more to get a nitro system.)

I play mainly front with a GZ timmy and I find it to be a dream. The GZ is gorgeously light, and simple. SOB (Single-fire Only Board) is faster than a regular LCD board. It shoots about 15 BPS if you Max it and has an anti chop eye. I've shot probably 15 cases of paint and haven't broken a single one in my marker. The accuracy is amazing, almost as good as my cocker. However if you want the LCD go for it. The new 2002 models are amazing performers too and look great. However, for back you might seriously want to consider your style. If you're a back player who lays down serious cover fire for your men to move up, by all means go with the Timmy. However, if you like to bunker and take selective kills, then go with the Shocker. The Shocker is a great gun and VERY quiet. The timmy has a bit of a clicking noise when you shoot vs a shocker's "whush" which makes you harder to find. The Shocker has as great accuracy (if not more w/ the closed bolt system and all) and shoots a very respectable 12 BPS if you're experienced with it. The Bad thing about the Shocker is that it isnt as reliable as a timmy, has VERY bad efficiency, and is quite bulky (not very noticable since its well balanced) So, it's your call. Pick the one that suits you. Please note that the Classic Timmy is truly quite heavier than the 2002 models due to its twin brass regs. Good Luck and choose wisely.
