shocker on off switch

ok guys, after a vigorous shot to the on off switch, my shocker will now not turn on, opened up the grip frame and saw that th bit of plastic that is attached to the noid has snapped, does anybody know of any way of fixing this, n e mods or n e thing to help this not happen again?

I had a similar problem with mine. Rather than the plastic snapping however it was the metal case around the microswitch.

Good news is its fixed, bad news is I had to send it to Smartparts.
