I have a quick question. My brother has just got around to using a shocker he brought about 4 months ago. I stripped it, inspected the O-rings and lubed it with shocker grease before he used it. Did not take the reg to bit though, will now though. It had a fresh battery in the marker, duracell ultra, and in the hopper, again duracell ultra’s.

His set up is
SFT Shocker,
HE kit,
Nerve board,
Full freak kit,
Halo,
1.1 fibre bottle, 4500psi, and high pressure out put.

Now the fun part, when it came to chrono, the gun was running a bit inconsistent (260 to 310 ish) The only way to make it right was to drop the velocity to about 230ish.

He was also having trouble with ball bursts in the freak, and before you say wrong size insert, I took out the one that fitted as it should and put in the biggest one in the kit, this seemed to help a bit, but still broke paint, we where using Draxis blaze (Warmed). We did not re chrono after this so it dropped the velocity even more.

Now for the question…What is the standard settings on the nerve board. I.e dwell, rate of fire, really

Please do not say “suck it and see”, or “take it to the chrono and set it up correctly”, as my brother uses this once in a blue moon. And is not that technical minded. And I’m not doing it all for his. And I’ve got to sort out my PM6, Just got an orange bolt for it on this forum, and it comes to far forward in the can and pops one of the seals off in the rear chamber. I’ve got a feeling it’s a PM5 bolt, you live and learn.

I also only require responses before 4ish today as my internet is down at home, so before I leave work really.

Short of that, is there going to be tech support at the big game this weekend? As he can get it sorted him self there.

Thank you in advance

Joe
