ok guys, i bought a second hand shocker 04 about a month ago. i havt had one problem with it until last week, when i put my air system on it makes a 'hising' noise and the bolt doest come back it just stays fowards.

im guessing its a o-ring problem but iv taken it all apart and found no o-ring snapped apar from one on the bolt guide (i think its called that, when you take the bolt out its the first thing u take out) it has 2 o-rings at the bottom and one has snapped, they dont actually look like there doing anything though! its a smaller green o-ring.

i have the master on sunday so i would really appreciate some help!

Soleniod ???

hi m8 i emailed the guy who made ZDS

He said it sounds like a solenoid problem. Check the endcap on the solenoid (the end facing forward when installed)

And look to see if there's a little line on the top of the endcap (facing away from the body).

If there is, then that's probably the problem. The endcap has to go on with the line facing the body, or else the airflow inside the solenoid is misdirected.

Nathan :)

The o-ring doesn't need to be completely snapped to feck up... Recently had a pressurising problem with mine, which was caused by a TINY hairline crack in the front inner o-ring (firing can)

That's the one problem with Shockers: (People, don't list more, or I'll kick you in the goolies) they have too many darned o-rings... :(

Anyway, good luck matey.

Also if your consistancy is a little ****y then that's another good sign of battered o-rings.
As found out by me (290, 245, 220 300)
