Shocker feed back

I've been shooting shockers for about 2 years now and there is currently nothing on the market that would make me want to change.
Ok they may be on the heavy side but they shoot fast and accurately, rarely break paint and are reliable.
The only thing you need to check is that the turbo board is disabled as this mode isn't tournament legal.

I have been using a shocker since the new version was introduced in 1998, wouldnt swap it for anything else currently.

The switch for the turbo is inside the shocker, not on the front (the front switch was for select fire versions). Which model board do you have

DS type:- has a small red led at the front of the body

LS type:- Has a on/off switch and green led on the side of the body

I dont think the LS came with Turbo mode (i could be wrong), if you open it up (mind the wire to the solinoid), inside if its a DS board you will see 2 banks of switches, these are used to set the timing. If you hold the marker with the front facing away from you the bank on the left hand side the very bottom switch is the turbo on/off switch. Another big give away on the old DS turbo board is the large white plug on the right side of the board which is the view loader control.

For spares in the uk your best of speaking to Phil or Nick at Smart parts Europe on 01322 555968 or www.smartpartseurope.co.uk

welcome to the Shocker family, if your ever at a torney and im there, i should be able to sort most problems with your shocker out or at least tell you whats wrong.

Cheers

You can't fit a Blade to the board you have 'cos it is a dome switch...before anyone jumps in and says you can 'cos planet do an old style and new style blade triggers...yes they do but the new and old is due to the construction of the grip frame not the board. Your only way to a more adjustable trigger is the Shock-ya mod available from smart parts ..see above for phone number, or spend loadsa cash and get a hyper frame...I know which way I would go but thats your options. Oh BTW Bruce L/S boards are turbo well at least the one I have is and it is turned into Turbo by moving the switch to the left or to the right , centre is semi mode, a 4x4 board with a switch would be select fire, left Full auto, right 3 shot burst fire, centre semi-mode, and if fitted the turbo switch is on or off on the left hand bank of switches, however although a great many boards have the turbo switch they are only turbo if the white connector for a VL is on the right side of the board not blank solder points

Cheers for the info Mark

Ive not yet seen a Turbo Ls board but thanks for clearing it up for me.

Another choice for the replacement grip, is the WERM frame and trigger, its similar to to the HSW frame but with out all the thrills and it cheaper i should have some coming soon, let me know if your intrested and ill work you out a price.

is it a vertical feed or right hand feed, i have a right feed and it doesnt need a anti-double ball if you fit the air assit kit

cheers

It has the led at the fron means its a DS board, which means that to fit a blade trigger you will need:-

Ls board approx: £130
double tigger frame: approx £70
blade trigger: £15 approx

so you are looking at over £200 quid,

your other choices are HSW frame approx £150 (currently not being made, may be able to find one 2nd hand)

or werm Trigger with werm stick which has it own switch in the frame and replaces the switch on the board. This frame is similar to the blade trigger but means you dont have to replace the board.

The air assist works by using the air expelled from the bolt to push the next ball into the breech. You will see on the right hand side of your marker a small hole, this is where the air used for the bolt is expelled. You basically run a small hose from here to your feed elbow and thats it

cheers
