Shocker Circuit board

erm, can you buy replacement switches for the shocker board?
i believe it's the LS board, the switch has broken off and now fires eratically (only sometimes) tried puttin an impulse switch on it but no luck.

Since its LS, you can stick any switch you want on it, and mount it where ever you want.

as i said, the impy switch didn't work, i'm assured it aint shoddy workmanship, have spoke to smart parts, and they say it is a new board job, but after a short bit of pleading/sweet talkin they said they'd take a look.
according to the guy who fitted the new switch there is an extra attatchment on an imp switch that isnt on the shocker, which might explain a thing or two. that and the smart parts guys were fightin the sniggers as the situation was explained.

I had that problem a few weeks ago.
Just got a mate to solder it back on for me.
Turned it off to clean a barrel break and it wouldn't turn back on cos the switch fell off.
LS board as well!

ash is talking about the trigger switch rather than the power switch... which is in a differebt place anyway because it's an eclipse...

i thinkim gonna have to cower to smart parts this time, don't have a spare shocker switch, si i'll get it off themand get rich (and brian) to fit it, sorry MudMonkey, i goofed this time.

tho i'm blamin the guy who thought it'd be good idea to grease the circuit board, the OUTSIDE of the solenoids and various other completely irrelevant places for all of this mess, there must have been half a tube of unnecessary grease on that thing!

check out maplins electronics shop's they do the switchs and all you gotta do is take the board with you show the brain bod's there and they'll give you the right sw. then its just a matter of gettin someone like me who works with electronis to solder it on for you......

i just done a wicked mod to me marker changed the (crap) red power L.E.D to a £3 ( bit expensive but looks cool ) bright BLUE L.E.D and in the dark you switch the power on and you can use it like a torch........

The impy switch wont work because of some disposible non perminable..... something or rather that isnt supposed to be manipulated, or something. Says the vet electronics dude that has saved my life (and my impys life) many a time.
