The Predator boards for Shockers have the facility to install break beam eyes, instead of the restarded system we have come to know as Smart Parts Vision. Problem is it requires milling work to be done, does anyone know where this can be done in the UK or will I have to send it state side. I've seen a few vids of guys in the America that have had t installed and it works a treat.

Best thing to do would be to get in touch with a SP and find out off them... I've not heard of any, but then again, I have not been looking either... :)
Just make sure they do a good job, last thing you want is some nasty hole out of place on your bod. (sounded wrong, eh) ;)

ring up smart parts and they'll laugh at you down the phone most probably.
Its obviously breaking the warranty if you get beam breaks stuck in the shocker. It will be a matter of sending it off, even though the vision and nerve board is good enough as it is.

The Vision aint the best thing in the world really. Installed by hand so it never can be 100%, plus if it was so good then how come they didn't use it in the Ion? ;)

Sp won't tell you anything, infact they'll probably tell you there's no such thing as better eyes for the shocker.

With the impulse, the eye sockets needed to be filed out, from a semi-circle to a circle in order to fit the WAS breakbeam eyes. The WAS manual has a nice guide, I'd think the preditor boad has one in the manual and if it's anything like the impulse work, it can be done at home pretty easily. All you needed was a chainsaw file and some black marker pen.

You don't even have to take the internals out if you block up the hammer opening etc up with tissue and don't let any shavings get in there.

You telling me all of lifes problems can't be sorted out with a marker pen and a chainsaw? :D

And it's a chainsaw FILE that I used for this mod, not the whole chainsaw. I used that for the feedneck.

I do the milling for John C's spitfire eye mods. Give me a ring and we can have a chat about it.

Cheers Tom, I'm still waiting for the gun to arrive but I know It has the board in, if I can get a copy of the instuctions to you to have a look at to see if you can do it. So I'll let you know, but I've kept your number for reference. I got in touch with tag sportz, they will do the lot for $150, but means sending it to the states.
